GETTING MACVIM SOFTWARE
Except for the paying for software thing I still feel dirty about that. I think it was deserving of the hype it usually receives from Ruby developers on Macs. Back when I got my MacBook last fall, I chose to go with TextMate for Ruby and Rails development, despite being a long vim user. Trying not to touch the arrow keys, not use the h-j-k-l too extensively either, work with A and I a lot, and generally trying not to cock things up too much by hitting the wrong commands.
